Megan Shull is an author and screenwriter. Her books for tweens and early teens include The Swap (adapted into a Disney film now streaming on Disney+), Bounce (acquired by Paramount Pictures), Billion Dollar Girl (Penguin Random House), Amazing Grace (Disney/Hyperion), and other works.

Her novels center on themes of courage, belonging, and hope, connecting with readers around the world. The Swap—starring Peyton List and Jacob Bertrand—was made into a Disney movie that continues to delight audiences on Disney+ more than a decade after its original release.

Megan holds a doctoral degree from Cornell University, where her work focused on building resilience and helping kids feel seen, soothed, and less alone. 

She lives in Ithaca, New York—where she was born and raised.
